KHCC hosts Medicaid expansion coalition, garners media coverage

On November 18, 2013, KHCC convened our Kansas Medicaid Expansion Coalition. Our November 18, 2013 coalition meeting pulled together more than 30 coalition partners. The Topeka Capital-Journal published an article, as did the Associated Press (AP). The AP story was picked up by media across Kansas, including WIBW in Topeka, and by media across the U.S., including SFGate in California.

The Wichita Eagle later published an editorial.

KHCC’s executive director resigns; interim director named

Anna Lambertson, KHCC’s executive director, announced her resignation. Sean Gatewood, KHCC’s advocacy director, has been named interim director. Read the announcement from the Topeka Capital-Journal.
